Terry Lee Gallo Sr.
OCEAN CITY – Terry Lee Gallo Sr., 58, died Sunday, March
24, 2007 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Towson, he is survived by his parents, Vincent
Gallo and Virginia Smith Gallo. He is also survived by his wife, Mary Camille
Gallo; two sons, Terry Lee Gallo, Jr. and James Samuel Gallo of Ocean City; a
brother, Ronald and his wife Kendra Gallo of Pennsylvania; and a sister, Toni
Gallo of Towson.
Gallo was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Ocean
City, the Elks and loved to play golf.
A Memorial Mass was held and interment was private.

Margaret Anne Weismiller Hedges
BERLIN – On March 10, 2007, Margaret Anne Weismiller
Hedges of Kearneysville, W.Va. and summer resident of Ocean City went home to
be with our Lord.
She was the loving daughter of Robert and Anne Weismiller;
loving wife of David Hedges; loving mother of Brock, Brett and Bryan Hedges;
and loving sister of Robert and his wife Debbie Weismiller and Gary and his
wife Angie Weismiller.
A funeral service was held in West Virginia.
Merrill E. Fisher
SELBYVILLE – Merrill E. Fisher, 86, formerly of Aston
Township, Pa., died Monday, March 26, 2007 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes,
Del.
Born in Ashton Mills, Pa., he was the son of the late
Matthew C. and Anna Mellen Fisher. He is survived by his son, Merrill E. Fisher
Jr. and his wife Roxanne of Brookhaven, Pa.; his daughter, Susan Fisher Clower
and her husband Robert of Fenwick Island, Del.; a special friend, Jeanne
Blackburn; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two nieces.
Fisher owned and operated M.E. Fisher Auto Repair at
Convent and Concord Rds. in Ashton Township, known as Fisher’s Corner until his
retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Ocean City VFW, Ocean City American
Legion, US LST Assoc., and the Media Old Timers Assoc. He was a proud WWII Navy
veteran who served in the Philippines and South Pacific aboard the USS LST 611.
A Memorial Service will be held today at St. Matthew’s by
the Sea United Methodist Church in Fenwick Island at noon. Rev. Bruce Miller
will officiate. Donations in his honor may be made to American Heart Assoc.,

Doris L. Wielert
BERKLIN – Doris Lorraine Wills Wielert of Crofton, Md. and
formally of Ocean City, died after a long illness, peacefully and with her
family, at the home of her son Friday, March 16, 2007.
Born July 9, 1929 in Baltimore to the late William T.
Wills and Helen Louise Engelke, she graduated from Eastern High School in 1947
and attended some college.
She was a homemaker most of her life though she worked
briefly in sales for Montgomery Ward. She modeled for fashion shows and acted
in plays in the 1960’s.
She moved back to Ocean City and is fondly remembered as
an active member of the Ladies Elks Auxiliary B.P.O.E. Lodge #2645 from
1980-1995.
She was a loving mother and good friend to all that knew
her.
Survivors include her daughter, Terry of Crofton, Md.;
sons, Malcolm of Bowie and Mitch of Ocean City; her brother, Thomas Wills and
his wife Catherine of Bel Air, Md.; sister, Cecelia Dallam of Sykesville Md.;
numerous nephews and nieces; and her former husband, William F. Wielert of Ft.
Lauderdale Fla.
Her son Marty preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2001.
George Matthew Pusey
BERLIN – George Matthew Pusey, age 60, died at his home in
Bishopville, March 24, 2007.
Born in Wilmington, Del., on Jan. 13, 1947, he is the son
of the late George A. Pusey and Ann M. Abernathy Pusey.
He will lovingly be remembered as a man with unending
energy and humor who was committed to his family, friends and business
associates.
He was the caring husband of Mary Anne Pusey for 39 years.
The devoted father of Kirsten M. Northway of Millville, Del., and her husband
Jay and the adoring “Poppy” of Kennan Maslin Northway who captured his heart in
such a special way. All of which survive him.
Also surviving is two brothers, his twin, William A. and
his wife Joyce F. Pusey of Williamsville and John P. and his wife Chris Pusey
of Harrington; a cousin, F. Charles Pusey of Wilmington; a niece, Adrienne
Pusey and her daughter Evyn of Tampa, Fla.; a niece, Arin Pusey of Wilmington;
and several other cousins in and around the Wilmington, Del. area.
He was so appreciative of all the loving care he received
during his short illness and was especially thankful to his brother Bill, niece
Jennifer Light of Roxanna, Del., his sisters in law, who meant so much to him,
a friend Bobbie and all those that comforted him during his illness.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday,
March 31 at 11 am at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Berlin. Father
Kavanaugh will be the celebrant.
